Bridges Ventures appoints three new Investment Associates

Bridges Ventures is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Associates, making strong additions to its Investment Team.

Ian Taylor started his career at Citigroup within investment banking, specialising in telecommunications, media and technology M&A. Prior to joining Bridges Ventures, he worked at mid-market private equity house FL Group. Ian studied mathematics at Imperial College London.

James Bird joins Bridges Ventures from Ernst and Young, where he worked in transaction advisory services, doing due diligence assignments for private equity clients across a broad range of sectors. He also has experience of business modelling and commercial due diligence.  James attended the University of Southampton where he gained a masters degree in aerospace engineering. He is also a chartered accountant.

Skye Heller has been appointed to work primarily on the new initiative of the Bridges Charitable Trust, the Bridges Social Entrepreneurs Fund. Skye previously worked in the equity capital markets divisions of Goldman Sachs and Macquarie Bank in Sydney. Prior to joining Bridges Ventures, she worked at London-based New Philanthropy Capital. Skye holds an MBA from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.

The appointment of these additional Associates brings the total number of investment team members to fifteen.
