John Reizenstein joined The Co-operative Financial Services in June 2003 as Chief Financial Officer and took on the role of Managing Director, Corporate & Markets Division in January 2008.  John's areas of activity include Corporate Banking, Asset Management, Treasury, Platform (intermediary mortgages new business), Optimum (intermediary mortgage books) and Business Services.

John was previously Managing Director, Financial Institutions Group, at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 5 years specialising in advising financial services organisations in the UK and continental Europe, including mergers and acquisitions and capital raising.  Prior to that, he held a similar position at UBS Warburg.

John is a board member of The International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF), a member of the Financial Reporting Review Panel, an advisory board member of Bridges Ventures and a Vice President of Save The Children.
