Kamal Tabet

Kamal Tabet was a Managing Director in Citigroup Global Markets from 1994 to 2008 and, from 2003-2008, was Global Head of its Financial Entrepreneurs Group, which encompassed the bank's global private equity investment banking, fund raising and private placement activities.  With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry he was also a member of the investment bank's Global Operating Committee. 

Prior to joining Citigroup in 1994, Kamal spent eight years at Lazard Frères & Co. in New York where he was an M&A banker focused on buyouts and cross border transactions, including KKR's buyouts of RJR Nabisco and Owens Illinois.  He joined Lazard from Republic National Bank of New York where he spent four years as an options trader. 

Kamal received his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1984 and his B.Sc. in Economics cum laude from Pepperdine University in 1980.
