Nigel Doughty together with Richard Hanson, founded Doughty Hanson & Co in 1984.
Doughty Hanson & Co is one of Europe’s leading private equity fund managers with offices across Europe and in the US. Doughty Hanson has over 50 investment professionals managing €5 billion of fund commitments.
In addition to its traditional private equity activity, Doughty Hanson also manages Europe’s largest Real Estate fund of US$630 million and a Technology Venture fund of US$270 million which was raised after the Technology crash in March 2000.
Doughty Hanson has headquarters in London and offices in Chicago, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, Prague and Stockholm.
Nigel Doughty is chairman of the Investment Committee of all three activities. He has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
