Philip Yea
Philip Yea is a non-Executive Director of Vodafone Group Plc and a trustee of the British Heart Foundation. Philip has spent over ten years in private equity, both at 3i where he was Chief Executive from 2004 until January 2009, and prior to 3i at Investcorp, where his main focus was on the performance of portfolio investments. Philip joined Investcorp in 1999 from Diageo, the global drinks firm, where he spent six years as Group Finance Director, initially at Guinness and subsequently at Diageo after Guinness's merger with GrandMet in 1997. Philip is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has a degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from Oxford University.
